I'm not THAT negative!

For those of you who think I'm a little too negative on my blog...it simply isn't the case. This tripartite relationship between myself, my blog and all of you, is mostly a venting board...what I feel about during a particular day.

Today, my friends, has been a good day. And it's only lunchtime!

I had breakfast with friends...real, true friends.....I'm having lunch with other friends and it's a long weekend! How can I complain...Especially after my morning.



My way into work isn't the most glorious of trips. I sit on public transportation for about 45 minutes and travel through underground tunnels to avoid the nasty weather outside. There is one point during my travels that I thoroughly look forward to.

There's a fairly large collection of water in one area; I think it's a corporation's attempt at trying to make some type of water feature/fountain. Anyhow, everyday when I walk by this 'fountain' there are a family of ducks there. They are the most serene things I've ever seen......just waddling around, without a care in the world.

Mother nature is a funny lady; She paints the male ducks these wonderful greens, taupes and whites and the female ducks this range of drab browns. The reason why I say that Mother Nature is a funny lady is the fact that she has to colour the male ducks these vibrant colours to merely attract the female ducks. How funny is that!

It would great to be a duck....what do they have to worry about? The rain?!
