Damn the TTC to hell

Well, I awoke this morning to find out that there is no TTC service this morning. The lovely 45 minute commute I must endure has been shoved in my face, and therefore obliterating anyway of getting to work. After scrambling to get myself dressed and ready to go; I decided to put on a local television channel to find out if I needed a jacket or not.

Hark! What's this? My subway station on television?
"Great", I thought, "A delay into work...how lovely. What a wonderful Monday morning this is turning out to be."

I decided to listen in just a little longer and found out that they're interviewing people. Great. I don't want to be on TV! They better be gone by the time I get there. Bastards.

Ah, but the joke is on me; AGAIN. There are reporters everywhere. Chaotic drivers everywhere. Cab lines busy. The TTC has ground to a halt.
Fantastic.
I have no car. I live a good walk away from a train station into town; and goodness only knows how busy the last train going into the downtown core will be.

What am I supposed to do? I'm the TTC's bitch. So, I shall be sucking it up; again. How does the TTC get away with shit like this!?

You'd be surprised at some of the conditions the workers must endure. Ever see drivers stuffing their faces while driving? They're not allowed to eat while working but they also don't get breaks in which to eat either. Makes no sense, huh?

I agree that they aren't making any friends with this job action but sometimes you gotta take a stand, as unpopular as it might be.

Enjoy the beautiful day off! ;0)

It could be worse....You could have been stuck on the 401 with everyone else trying to get to work..
