Tell me...

I have another "People say stupid things" post for you. I'm sure you'll remember my troubles with my dentist (if not, read here). I'm thinking I'm going to create a new blog JUST for these types of posts....or get another dentist. Will have to mull those two thoughts over for a bit.

This story isn't as good as past ones, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

Stupid Dentist: "Luiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigilover!!" *hug*double kiss* (no, I'm not kidding...she did that)
Luigilover: "Hi there Dr. Stupid."
SD: "Open up and lets take a look"
LL: "Ok"
SD: "Hum. Tell me something..."
LL: *mumble*
SD: "Why don't you want straight teeth?"
LL: *huh?*
SD: "Do you have something against straight teeth?"
LL: *jerk head to the side to defend myself and get her grimy fingers out of my mouth* "No! But braces are very expensive!"
SD: "Oh. That explains it."

What the frig did she mean by that!? Honestly.

Anyhow. I'm looking into it more seriously...but I'm afraid. I heard it can cause an insufferable amount of pain; and, lets face it. I'm a wussy. Will continue to think about it.

I Still Love You

This is what you get when you get all up in Hugh's face. A can of whoop ass! (Or baked beans...whatever; it's all the same).

Hugh Grant was arrested today of ALLEGEDLY attacking a "tabloid" photographer. Hugh kicked him a few times, asked if the loser photographer had any kids, and when he said two, Hugh said "I hope they die of fucking cancer". Bah. All hearsay.
All a misunderstanding.

*gasp* Still love you!

I have a friend; and she has no friends.

Well, it has happened again my friends. I'm happy to say that it wasn't me who had to bear the brunt of this conversation. Enjoy it; it's a duuuuuzie!

As I was making my English muffin this morning, the following conversation (if you can call it that) took place in the kitchen area:

Koko stared at Ami
Ami: Good morning.
Koko: Hi. (Rinsing out her mug)
Koko: Are you done school now?
Ami: Yes.
Koko: Are you looking for something in HR?
Ami: Possibly.
Koko: HR people are not employable.
Ami – (in shock) "Excuse me?"
Koko: HR people are not employable.
After a pause..
Ami: You mean with the City or outside the City?
Koko: Oh, within the City. Maybe something clerical, but not employable.
Ami: ok. (Hurry up stupid toaster...HURRY!)
Another pause.
Koko: HR people have no friends.
Ami – (just looked at Koko).
Koko: I have a friend in HR - personnel, she has no friends. There's always a conflict.
Ami: I can see that sometimes there might be a conflict of interest (b/c of ethical issues, management issues, conflict of roles etc)
Koko: NO, NOT conflict of interest, CONFLICT
Ami: Conflict of interest will arise and they exists.
Koko: NO, NOT conflict of interest, CONFLICT.
Ami: Sure. (I give up)
Koko: You don't know what conflict of interest means. There will be conflict, but not conflict of interests.
Ami: OK.
Long pause (stupid toaster)
Koko: HR people have no friends.
Finally, it's done (or I'm eating my English muffin either way)
Ami: Ok. Have a good day.

Highlights of the conversation:
A) People with HR background looking for HR work is not employable, except for maybe something clerical.
B) The meaning of "Conflict of Interest" is only as defined by Koko.
C) HR people = no friends.

Wow

Here's another posting for my now infamous "People Say Stupid Things" column.

Kami: "Wow"
Luigilover: "hum?"
K: "You've really broken out"
LL: "Broken out?"
K: "Yeah. You know. Zits" *points to my chin* "Your face is full of them!"
LL: *stunned* "Yup, it certainly is"
K: "I guess you must be stressed or something."
LL: "Yup, Yup, lots of stress."
K: "Yeah. Me too. Lots of stress. But your zits look awful. I guess that happens to people when they're stressed out."
LL: *leave room*

Jeez, I wonder WHY I'm stressed out!?
